American Beauty Institute is licensed by the Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology and is a nationally accredited institution, recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences. (NACCAS)

The school is owned and operated by Donna Pope. Ms Pope's credentials are impeccable. She is, among other things, a stylist, former salon owner, competition trophy winner and past president of the Oklahoma Cosmetology Association-Ardmore affiliate. She, along with her staff, consistently attend continuing education classes in an effort to constantly update skills and keep abreast of new trends and technology.

Ms Pope is assisted by a stellar staff that includes who share Donna's passion for teaching and graduating talented and successful individuals. At ABI, we have been graduating successful Cosmetologists, Cosmetology Instructors and Nail Technicians for almost twenty years. Our graduates have gone on to careers as salon owners, salon managers, platform artists, manufacturer's representatives, makeup artists. stylists and educators.
