Company History
Personal Marketing Research was founded in 1953 by John and Eleanor Duffy. Originally a division of Per Mar Security the company was known as Per Mar Research. In 1992, the current president Patricia E. Duffy purchased the company from her family, and changed the company name to PMR, Inc. Since becoming a separate corporation Personal Marketing Research has grown from a single office field service to a multi-dimensional market research company that has been conducting local, regional and national market research. Personal Marketing Research, Inc is an Iowa corporation serving all of Iowa and Western Illinois. We have the ability to recruit and host focus groups in Davenport, Cedar Rapids, Des Moines or any other city in Iowa or western Illinois.

Personal Marketing Research is a member of the American Marketing Association (AMA) and the Market Research Association (MRA).
