Mission - To prepare our students to reach their fullest potential.

Philosophy - We believe a well trained student will be a benefit to themselves their family and their community.

History - BIBC began in 1998 in Keauhou, Kona Hawaii. Antoinette (Toni) and Vincent Mott realized the need for a beauty college on the Big Island of Hawaii. Toni, who operated a successful salon in the Keauhou shopping center was often asked by other salon owners how they could get well trained operators. While the resort spa managers all said they needed estheticians. The Nail Techs spend three months in school, the Estheticians, six months, and the Cosmetology students spend fourteen months. BIBC now has thirty-two students training to earn the three different licenses, while discovering beauty in paradise. When not in school, students can enjoy the perfect weather along the Kona coast. There are many outdoor activities, including horse back riding, kayaking, and snorkeling in the crystal clear warm waters of Keauhou Bay. Kona also has plenty of Night life featuring the Hard Rock Cafe and Lu Lu's Grill.
